The Light Shines Brighter in Milton Keynes Central Library

11.39.20pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 4th Apr 2005

Central Milton Keynes library is a much brighter place now that the main reception area, reference department and central area upstairs have all had new lighting installed to make it easier for customers to use the facilities. There are plans to improve the lighting in the remaining parts of the building later in the year.

Liberal Democrat Councillor Sandra Clark, cabinet member for libraries, said: "It is lovely to see the library looking so bright. It will benefit the million or so people who visit this library every year, as well as the staff who are there to help."
