From Friday 4 November, residents, workers and visitors will benefit from: • The introduction of commuter parking permits and car-share permits to long-stay pay-and-display parking bays in Station Square and beside the Hockey Stadium (exclusively for Milton Keynes council-tax payers) • The introduction of "No double parking" throughout Central Milton Keynes • The addition of a further six disabled parking bays • The introduction of an additional taxi rank at Xcape • Relocation of 15 residents' parking bays from North Row to North Fourteenth Street • Increase of free parking in North Row • Ten additional 15-minute drop-off bays at the railway station. Cabinet Member responsible for parking, Liberal Democrat Councillor Graham Mabbutt said: "This is part of the annual review of the Central Milton Keynes car parking scheme. We aim to fine-tune the scheme in response to requests from users, and to make the scheme even more user-friendly."
