Liberal Democrats work for you all year round - you've heard the slogan often enough - but it really is true. And that's a lot of work!

There are many ways in which you can get involved, with the issues, or with the back-up work to help get your Councillors elected to keep working for you.

• Help deliver the Focus newsletter to keep residents in touch

• Support our fund raising efforts - 100 Clubs, social events, and others, raising money mainly to pay for the Focus

• Help with local campaigns, getting signatures, canvassing views, reviewing plans, researching solutions, etc.

• Bring issues to our attention! - You'd be surprised how many issues don't get dealt with simply because no-one reports them!

And at election time there are specific jobs to be done:

• Delivering extra leaflets in the run-up, and in the last few days before the election

• Preparing mailshots: printing leaflets and stuffing envelopes

• Canvassing - to find who people intend to vote for and what their issues are

• And reminding people, and providing lifts, to help them to go and vote
